Sheron Garrett-Dickerson

A Nashville, TN area native. I received my formal art education at the renowned Harris School of Art in Franklin, TN and consider myself a lifelong learner.

I am not a minimalist but like the general idea and strive for simplicity in my work and life.

I choose to still create color using primarily red, yellow, and blue and try to surround myself with things of which all have a story and an emotional connection. The desire for each painting is that it will have an emotional connection for the viewer and will in turn become part of someone's story to tell and share with future generations.
